Alex contributes daily to BBC Radio Bristol, BBC Radio Somerset and BBC Radio Gloucestershire. Every weekday afternoon, Alex joins the afternoon teams to look ahead to that evening's news programme.

Until recently Alex has been a regular on BBC Radio Bristol presenting Saturday Surgery (9am-12pm www.bbc.co.uk/radiobristol)

The presentation of the show alternated between Alex and the brilliant Dr Phil Hammond (Have I Got News For You, Countdown, Trust Me I'm A Doctor etc). The 3 hour show ran from 9am to12pm on Saturday mornings and featured a famous guest with their ideas on who they'd invite to the perfect virtual dinner party (dead or alive!) A Doctor in The House slot - this has featured everything from holistic therapists to medical professionals specialising in areas of medicine that are both interesting and often eye-opening and an hour to look around at what's on around the West.

Dr Phil and Alex even presented the programme together one year at the Bristol Harbour Festival.
